The lengths Joffrey went through to make things better with Sansa he even tried wearing long sleeve shirts under short sleeve shirts under long sleeve shirts.
That didn’t work so he had her fathers head cut off :( and went to Satansbrand’s RedBubble site and bought himself a Lannister Gold one
Rustic Treasures
We have had some time out (thanks in part to a rather dodgy tooth extraction…thank heavens for clove oil) recently and it has given us a bit of time to think about the upcoming craft fairs that we will be doing.
We have decided to really focus on the natural bodycare products and will be working frantically to get some new items going, as always I will keep the ideas posted on here.
I think the Rustic Treasures name may change to something a little more organic and spa related, everything I think of has been taken so far though :(

This is a link to our new blogger page. Basically this is set up to be a bit more diverse than the Rustic Treasures tumblr page (although at the moment a lot of the content is the same!).
This blog will be for the monthly craft fair and the things we are doing for that whilst the blogger page will be a bit more day to day things.
These are some of things that we produce at home, a Rosemary and Geranium scrub on the left, some handmade bath salts in the centre and on the right we have our Coffee and Vanilla body scrub.
Now I dont do exact measurements, it all depends on the jar size but here is how we make it:
Fill a jar just two thirds full of a mixture of white sugar and coarse sea salt. Add one teaspoon of coffee to the jar and mix well so the coffee is dispersed throughout. Now slowly pour olive oil in and mix until a paste like substance is formed. Add a couple of drops of Vanilla essence, mix well once more and you are done. We would add in a few drops of Vitamin E oil in as well.
Thats all there is to it.
Of course you can vary this immensly, jojoba oil is quite popular instead of olive oil. You don’t have to go with a coarse sea salt but its fine to just use sugar, brown or white. Instead of Vanilla essence you could use a fragrance oil or therapeutic grade essential oil. The combinations go on and on.
I was brought up in Bridlington and I love seeing pictures such as these. Black and white suits coastal pictures so well!

Firbeck Craft Fair - 3rd March
Just finished off tonight’s fun and games in the rustic kitchen.
We have made some extra mineral bath bombs (see a few posts back) and have been making some small jars of bath salts which are going to show at the craft fair as bath boosters. These will add some mineral enriched salt and essential oils to a hot running bath.
Whilst this picture is from Norway the Northern Lights were spotted at Flamborough, East Yorkshire a few weeks ago, one day I will get the chance to see these!
Whilst on the bath theme, I love this picture! Just missing a rustic treasures body scrub :)

Can you use food colouring in bath salts?
On some sites I have read you can, on others you cant because it can stain the bath.
Which is it?!!?
