We are a small family from Doncaster, England who have come to enjoy all things rustic, handmade and thrifty! In fact frugal living has really become a huge part of our day to day routines!
We have recently started to create items such as handmade jewellery, organic bodycare products and using logs we find from the ground to create various table decorations.
This blog has been created to show you what we have been making, our ideas, what we are up to in general and what inspires us - that little part of our life filled with rustic treasures.
Ask me anything you like...
The weather was much better this morning on the dog walk, amazing how different 6 degrees feels. I managed to find a load of pine cones too that have been washed and are now drying out.
Seems like perfect opportunity to try my hand at making a bowl of woodland pot pourri again with pine cones and some spare dreid flowers we have. I had never made any before but at Christmas a friend asked if I could make some natural pot pourri to give as a Christmas gift and by all accounts they went down a treat.
Pics are on this blog somewhere of the last batch made at Christmas!

A friend of mine asked if we could make him some pot pourri for gifts. We created a natural woodland pot pourri using dried flowers and herbs that we collected from our local area.
One is gently scented with sprigs of lavender and essential oil whilst the other has a lovely woodland smell of pine oil!

A rustic treasures twist on pot pourri, a delightful scent jar with sweet orange, a hint of lemon and of course, clove and cinnamon! A cinnamon heart has managed to sneak into the picture too :)
